Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor: Removal

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  under MISCELLANEOUS. Disconnect Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector. MAP sensor is located on top center of engine. See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove MAP sensor from intake manifold by pulling straight up with a slight rocking motion. Remove and discard MAP sensor grommet.
