Removal & Installation

Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  under MISCELLANEOUS. Disconnect knock sensor harness connector. Knock sensor is located at top rear of engine. See Fig 1 . Remove knock sensor retaining bolt and knock sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten knock sensor retaining bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
