Crankshaft Position Sensor: Removal

- Turn ignition off. Raise and support vehicle. Remove steering linkage shield mounting bolts and steering linkage shield (if equipped). See Fig 1 .
- Disconnect Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector. CKP sensor harness connector is located on front of engine, behind crankshaft pulley. See Fig 2 . Remove CKP sensor mounting bolt and CKP sensor.
