Removal & Installation

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses refer to numbers in illustration.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  under MISCELLANEOUS. Remove the air cleaner outlet retaining nut (1). See Fig 1 . Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (2) from the throttle body assembly. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct from the MAF sensor. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct-to-MAF sensor clamp to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct retaining nut (1) to specification.
