Side Mount: Installation

NOTE:
Hand start all bolts before tightening.
- Install the transaxle mount in the side rail. See Figure . Tighten transaxle mount-to-side rail bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Use the floor jack to raise the powertrain into position.
- Align both side mounts with the surfaces flush with the mount brackets. See Figure .
- Align all the bolt holes in both side mounts and hand tighten both upper mount bolts. Three per side.
- Tighten the mount bolts starting with the center ones. See Figure . Tighten both upper mount bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Raise the vehicle.
- Install the rear mount through bolt. See Figure . Hand tighten only.
- Install the front mount through bolt. See Figure . Hand tighten only.
- Perform the powertrain mount balance procedure. See POWERTRAIN MOUNT BALANCE (TOTAL MOUNT) .
- Remove the floor jack and block of wood.
- Install the battery box. See appropriate SERVICING article as follows:
