Vehicle Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the RH muffler assembly. See LEFT/RIGHT MUFFLER  under MISCELLANEOUS.
  2. Clean any dirt from around the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). See Figure. Disconnect the electrical connector from the VSS.
  3. Remove the bolt retaining the VSS to the rear differential case. Remove the VSS from the differential case
