Mass Airflow Sensor: Installation

The embossed arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor indicates the proper air flow direction. The arrow must point toward the engine. Install the MAF/IAT sensor into the air intake duct at the air cleaner housing. See Figure. Install the new clamp using Crimping Tool (J 22610). Install the air intake duct to the MAF/IAT sensor and the throttle body. Install the clamps. Connect the electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
