Camshaft Position Sensor: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the CMP sensor. Install the CMP sensor retaining bolt. Tighten the CMP sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector. Install the intake manifold.
  2. Check if keyless entry transmitters function properly. If battery was disconnected, transmitter may not communicate or may loose synchronization with the receiver. If transmitters do not function properly, reprogram transmitters. See KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER SYNCHRONIZATION  under PROGRAMMING.
