Air Cleaner Assembly: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner assembly, if necessary. See Fig 1. Install a new clamp using Crimping Tool (J 22610). Position the air intake duct to the throttle body.
  2. Ensure the air intake duct grommets are secure on the studs. Tighten the air intake duct clamp at the throttle body. Use a GM approved non-silicone lubricant in order to help with installation. Position the air cleaner assembly with mounting grommets to the mounting studs. Secure the air cleaner assembly to the mounting studs. Connect the AIR hose to the air cleaner assembly.
