Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedure.

  1. 2  - This step tests if the concern is active.
  2. 4  - This step tests the AF enable circuit to the AF relay. If the test light turns ON and OFF, with the scan tool commands, the PCM and wiring are okay.
  3. 5  - This step determines if a ground is constantly applied to the AF enable circuit.
  4. 8  - This step verifies that a voltage is supplied to the AF relay. If the ignition voltage circuit is open, this DTC will set.
