Removal (Mode Door)

Remove the left instrument panel insulator. Remove the instrument panel knee bolster bracket. Disconnect the vacuum line from the mode actuator. Lift the lock tab up to remove the actuator. See Figure. Remove the mode actuator off the slides of the HVAC module assembly. See Figure. Disconnect the actuator pushrod from the mode door lever and remove the actuator. See Figure.
