Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 2002 Chevrolet Impala, 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and 2001 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Door lock switches provide a direct ground input to Body Control Module (BCM) when one of the switches is activated to UNLOCK position, or an input path to ground through a 470 ohm resistor when one of the switches is activated to LOCK position. These inputs are used by BCM to control output to door lock actuators.
