Heat Shield: Removal

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the bolts (2) from the front heat shield (1). See Fig 1 .
  3. Remove the front heat shield (1) from the transmission.
  4. Remove the bolt (4) and the nut (5) from the side heat shield (3).
  5. Remove the side heat shield (3) from the transmission.
