Auxiliary Oil Cooler Hose/Pipes & Fittings: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Pull the plastic cap back from the quick connect fitting.
- Remove the cooling lines from the clips.
- Remove the 2 retaining rings securing the 2 cooling lines to the transmission. See Figure .
- Using a bent tip screwdriver, pull on the open ends of the retaining ring in order to rotate the retaining ring around the quick connect fitting until the retaining ring is out of the fitting. See Fig 1 . Discard the retaining ring.
- Pull the cooling line straight out from the quick connect fitting. See Fig 2 .
- Repeat this procedure to remove all the remaining cooling lines from quick connect fittings.
- For vehicles with and without auxiliary cooling, remove the cooling lines from the radiator. See Fig 3 .
- Remove the oil cooling lines from the auxiliary oil cooler. See Fig 4 .
