Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

- Install the "O" ring seal onto the VSS. See Figure .
- Coat the "O" ring seal with a thin film of transmission fluid.
- Install the VSS.
- Install the VSS bolt. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the VSS electrical connector (2). See Figure .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Refill the fluid as required. See LUBRICATION .
