Transaxle Mount & Bracket: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Remove the left inner splash shield.
  2. Use a utility stand with a block of wood in order to support the transaxle. Remove the transaxle mount upper nuts. See Fig 1 .
  3. Remove the transaxle bracket to transaxle mount upper nuts. See Fig 1 . Remove the transaxle mount bracket bolts. Remove the transaxle mount bracket. See Fig 2 .
  4. Remove the transaxle mount lower nuts to the transaxle mount frame bracket. Remove the transaxle mount from the transaxle mount frame bracket.
