Adjustment of the Sunroof Glass Panel Seal

The sunroof glass panel seal controls the entry of water to the drain channels. If the sunroof glass panel is correctly adjusted, the fit between the weatherstrip and the roof will be snug.
Complete the following steps in order to test the fit:
- Insert a piece of paper between the roof and the weatherstrip.
- Close the glass panel.
- Pull out the paper.
If there is some resistance when you pull out the paper, the fit is correct. Proper adjustment is necessary to ensure that the amount of water to the sunroof drain hoses is not excessive. An improper fit may cause water leaks or objectionable wind noise.
- Complete all of the glass panel to roof adjustments by changing the vertical height and centering of the glass panel.
