Adjustment Procedure

- Remove the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
- Condition 2.1: Using a flat-bladed tool, straighten the run channel lip by pulling it out to its correct position.
- Condition 2.2:
Use a flat-bladed tool to push the run channel rearward to seat it in the door frame.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Condition 2.3:
- Loosen the window to regulator bolts.
- Rotate the cam (5) on the window regulator plate so that the slot (6) is straight up and down.
- In this position, the back of the glass will tilt forward.
- Tighten the 2 window to regulator bolts to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
- Condition 2.4:
- Loosen the window to regulator bolts.
- Loosen the 4 regulator bolts.
- Now, tighten the window regulator bolts according to the tightening sequence (1,2,3,4).
- Tighten the 4 window regulator bolts to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
- Tighten the 2 window to regulator bolts.
- Tighten the 2 window to regulator bolts to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
- Connect the power window switch.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
- Install the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
