Removal Procedure

  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  4. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door .
  5. Remove clip holding energy absorber in position.

  7. Grasp the energy absorber with hands and pull it away from the door.
