Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  2. Remove the water deflector as needed. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  3. Use side cutters in order to cut off the outside handle rod-to-lock clip form the lock.

  4. Unscrew the remainder of the clip from the outside handle rod.
  5. Discard the clip.
