Fore/Aft Adjustment

  1. Loosen the two 13 mm body side upper and lower hinge bolts (1). Do not remove them.

  3. Loosen the 10 mm cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (1).

  5. Adjust the door fore and aft by repositioning the door as needed.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Install the one 10 mm cone adjuster (1) body side hinge bolt. Tighten the cone adjuster body side hinge bolt to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
  7. Apply Loctite® Blue GM P/N 12345382, or Canadian P/N 10953489, or equivalent prior to installing the body side hinge bolts.
  8. Install two 13 mm body side hinge bolts (1). Tighten the body side hinge bolts to 33 N.m (24 ft lbs).
