Fore/Aft Adjustment

Remove the front fender insulator in order to gain access to the body side hinge bolts. Refer to Fender Sound Insulator Replacement - Front .
Loosen the 13 mm body side upper and lower hinge bolts (1).
Do not remove the bolts (1).

Loosen one 10 mm cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (3).
Do not remove the bolt.
Loosen the TORX® body side upper and lower hinge bolts (2).
Do not remove the bolt.
Adjust the door fore and aft by repositioning the door as needed.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Tighten the TORX® body side upper and lower hinge bolts. Tighten the TORX® head body side hinge bolt to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
Tighten the 10 mm cone adjuster body side hinge bolt. Tighten the cone adjuster body side hinge bolt to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
Tighten the 13 mm body side hinge bolts. Tighten the body side upper and lower hinge bolts to 33 N.m (24 ft lbs).
Install the front fender insulator. Refer to Fender Sound Insulator Replacement - Front .
