Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the accessory power receptacle fuse.
  2. Remove the accessory power receptacle by placing one side of the "T" portion of J 42059  into the tab window. Angle the other side into the opposite receptacle opening. Pull the accessory power receptacle straight out.
  3. Remove J 42059  .

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the accessory power receptacle.

  5. Using your index finger, pull out the accessory power receptacle retainer.
