Test Procedure

  1. If diagnostic system check for TPM system has been performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check for TPM system has not been performed, perform diagnostic system check. See TIRE PRESSURING MONITORING DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Ensure tires are properly inflated. Reset TPM system. See TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING RESET under PROGRAMMING.
  3. Using scan tool, clear DTC C1245. Operate vehicle under code enable criteria conditions. See CODE ENABLE CRITERIA . If DTC resets, repeat test beginning at step  1.
