DTC C1245: Low Tire Pressure: Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) system uses Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) and ABS wheel speed sensor inputs to monitor tire pressure. EBCM contains software to calculate relative tire pressure differences. EBCM monitors ABS wheel speed sensor inputs, all of which will be equal to a learned calibration. If pressure increases or decreases in a tire, its circumference and radius will change and cause its wheel speed sensor input to change. EBCM recognizes this difference in wheel speeds as a tire pressure condition. When DTC C1245 sets, DIC displays LOW TIRE PRESSURE warning message and TPM system is disabled. DTC will clear when TPM system has been reset or when cleared with a scan tool.
