Air Cleaner Intake Duct: Removal

  1. Loosen the air cleaner intake duct clamps (2 and 6). See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove the PCV tube (4) from the air cleaner intake duct. See Fig 1 .
  3. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector (3).
  4. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector (5).
  5. Remove the air cleaner intake duct from the air cleaner assembly (8) and the throttle body.
  6. Loosen the clamp on the MAF sensor and remove the air cleaner intake duct from the MAF sensor (7). See Fig 1 .
  7. If replacing the air cleaner intake duct, remove the IAT sensor (1) with a twisting and pulling motion. See Fig 1 .
