Installation Procedure

  1. Insert the front engine mount stud (short) through the hole in the front engine mount bracket.

    CAUTION: Refer toFASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the nut securing the front engine mount to the front engine mount bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front engine mount to bracket nut to 114 N.m (84 ft lbs).

  3. Install the engine frame. Refer to FRAME REPLACEMENT in Frame and Underbody.
  4. Install the nut securing the front engine mount to the engine frame.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front engine mount nut to 70 N.m (52 ft lbs).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
