Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front engine mount bracket to the engine.
  2. Loosely install the two upper bolts securing the front engine mount bracket to the cylinder head.
  3. Install the transaxle support brace.

    CAUTION: Refer toFASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Loosely install the transaxle support brace and the two lower front engine mount bracket nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts and bolts in the following sequence:

    1. 4.1. Tighten the lower engine mount bracket nuts to 41 N.m (30 ft lbs).
    2. 4.2. Tighten the transaxle support brace bolt to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).
    3. 4.3. Tighten the two upper engine mount bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).
  5. Install the front engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Front .
