Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement .
  2. Remove the drive belt idler pulley
  3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley
  4. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
  5. Remove the right engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right .

  6. Remove the engine front cover bolts.
  7. Remove the engine front cover and gasket. The gasket is reusable. Do not discard unless it is damaged.
