Throttle Position Sensor: Removal

  1. Throttle Position (TP) sensor is located on the side of the throttle body. See Figure or Figure . Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator, air cleaner intake duct and vent hose.
  2. On 3.4L, disconnect EVAP purge line and fuel lines. See FUEL LINE QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS  under FUEL SYSTEMS.
  3. On all models, disconnect the TP sensor harness connector.
  4. Remove the throttle TP sensor screws.
  5. Remove the TP sensor and "O" ring.
