Removal (3.4L)

  1. Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is located on top left side of engine next to ignition coils. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Remove the screws that attach the MAP sensor to the bracket. See Fig 1 .
  3. Disconnect the MAP sensor harness connector.
  4. Disconnect the MAP inlet vacuum hose.
  5. Remove the MAP sensor from the bracket.
