Removal (3.4L)

  1. Knock Sensor (KS) is located on the middle of the left side of the engine above the oil filter. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Raise and support vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the knock sensor.
  4. Remove the knock sensor from the engine block. See Fig 2 .
