Removal (3.4L)

Knock Sensor (KS) is located on the middle of the left side of the engine above the oil filter. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
Raise and support vehicle.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the knock sensor.
Remove the knock sensor from the engine block. See Fig 2 .
