Knock Sensor: Installation

  1. Ensure the KS threaded surfaces are clean before installation.
  2. Install the knock sensor. Tighten the knock sensor retaining bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the knock sensor harness connector.
  4. Install the starter.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
