Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

- Apply Transjel(R) Transmission Assembly Lubricant (J 36850), or equivalent, to VSS "O" ring.
- Install the VSS into the transaxle case. Install VSS retaining bolt. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the VSS harness connector (1). See Figure or Figure .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
