Ignition Switch: Installation

  1. Install the ignition switch (7) and the 2 screws (8)(9). See Figure .
  2. Connect ignition switch harness connector (1). See Figure .
  3. Install trim covers to the steering column.
  4. Enable the SIR system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.
