Camshaft Position Sensor: Installation

  1. Install CMP sensor (2) into the cylinder head. See Figure .
  2. Install the 2 CMP sensor hold-down bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Figure .
  3. Connect CMP sensor harness connector (1).
  4. Install engine cover (1). See Figure .
  5. Install engine cover (1) bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Figure .
