Rocker Arm Oil Control Solenoid Valve: Installation

  1. Install a NEW "O" ring (2) and rocker arm oil control solenoid valve (1) into the cylinder head. See Figure .
  2. Install rocker arm oil control solenoid valve retaining bolt. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect rocker arm oil control solenoid valve solenoid valve harness connector.
  4. Connect PCV hose (1) and PCV breather hose (2) to the engine.
  5. Connect EVAP hoses.
  6. Install engine cover (1). See Figure .
  7. Install engine cover (1) bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Figure .
