Idle Air Control Valve: Installation

  1. Install a NEW IAC valve gasket (4).
  2. Install IAC valve (3) to throttle body. See Figure .
  3. Install IAC valve mounting bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Connect coolant hoses (2) to IAC valve. See Figure .
  5. Connect IAC valve (1) harness connector (2). See Figure .
  6. Refill the cooling system.
