EVAP Pressure Switching Solenoid: Removal

  1. Remove EVAP canister (3). See EVAP CANISTER  .
  2. Disconnect EVAP pressure switching solenoid harness connector.
  3. Disconnect 2 vapor hoses. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove bolt (2).
  5. Remove EVAP pressure switching solenoid (1) from EVAP canister.
  6. Inspect EVAP pressure switching solenoid and EVAP control system for carbon particle contamination before replacing the EVAP pressure switching solenoid.
