Crankshaft Position Sensor

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor signal indicates the crankshaft speed and position. CKP sensor is located on top left rear of engine, near bellhousing. See Fig 1 . The CKP sensor is connected directly to the PCM and consists of a 12-volt reference circuit, low reference circuit and CKP sensor signal circuit.
