Cooler Pipes & Hoses: Installation

- Install or connect the fluid cooler inlet pipe, outlet pipe and bracket to the transaxle. Secure the pipe bracket to the transaxle with one bolt.
- Tighten the transaxle inlet and outlet fluid cooler pipe flare nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the fluid cooler pipe bracket bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the following to the transaxle and fluid cooler:
- The fluid cooler inlet hose to the fluid cooler inlet pipe. Secure with the one clamp.
- The fluid cooler inlet hose to the transaxle fluid cooler. Secure with the one clamp.
- The fluid cooler outlet hose to the fluid cooler outlet pipe. Secure with the one clamp.
- The fluid cooler outlet hose to the transaxle fluid cooler. Secure with the one clamp.
- Remove the drain pan from under the transaxle fluid cooler.
- Refill the transaxle with appropriate fluid to proper level. See DRAINING & REFILLING under LUBRICATION.
