Cooler Pipes & Hoses: Removal

  1. Place a drain pan or suitable container under the transaxle fluid cooler.
  2. Remove the following from the fluid cooler inlet and the outlet:
    1. The one clamp and the fluid cooler inlet hose.
    2. The one clamp and the fluid cooler outlet hose.
  3. Remove the following from the transaxle inlet and the outlet pipes:
    1. The one clamp and the fluid cooler inlet hose.
    2. The one clamp and the fluid cooler outlet hose.
  4. Remove the one bolt and the fluid cooler pipe bracket. See Fig 1 .
  5. Disconnect the fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipes from the transaxle. See Fig 2 .
  6. Inspect the transaxle fluid cooler hoses for leaks or fatigue. Replace as necessary.
  7. Inspect the fluid cooler pipes for kinks, leaks or other damage. Replace as necessary.
