Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the generator control module cooling system. Refer to Generator Control Module Cooling System Draining and Filling 
  2. Remove the drive motor power inverter module bracket. Refer to Generator Control Module Bracket Replacement
  3. Remove the left headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement

  5. Using J 38185:  Hose Clamp Pliers reposition the generator control module coolant outlet hose clamp (1).
  6. Remove the generator control module coolant outlet hose (2) from the generator control module.

  8. Using J 38185:  Hose Clamp Pliers reposition the generator control module coolant outlet hose clamp (1).
  9. Remove the generator control module coolant outlet hose (2) from the radiator surge tank air separator.
  10. Remove the generator control module coolant outlet hose from the vehicle.
