Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the generator control module coolant system. Refer to Generator Control Module Cooling System Draining and Filling 
  2. Remove the left headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the coolant temperature sensor.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tip:  Coolant temperature sensor is located in the generator control module coolant radiator.

Tighten:  20 N.m (15 lb in)
