Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 54 other vehicles, including the 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada, 1999 GMC Yukon, 1999 GMC Suburban, 1999 GMC Sonoma, and 1999 GMC Savana Special. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove brake caliper. Remove hub and rotor assembly. Remove splash shield, wheel speed sensor-to-bracket mounting nuts and bolts. Remove wheel speed sensor, then remove wheel speed sensor mounting bracket.
    NOTE: DO NOT install washers between mounting nuts and wheel speed sensor mounting bracket.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
