Conditions for Running the DTC

P2177 and P2179

Before the ECM can report DTC P2177 or P2179, failed, DTCs P0030, P0031, P0032, P0050, P0051, P0052, P0100, P0102, P0103, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0130, P0131, P0132, P0135, P0150, P0151, P0152, P0155, P0221, P0222, P0223, P0335, P0336, P0443, P0458, P0459, P064D, P064E, P2237, P2240, P2243, P2247, P2251, P2254, P2226, and P2629 must run and pass.
The engine speed is between 960-4,040 RPM and steady.
The throttle angle is less than 98 percent.
The closed loop fuel control is active
The engine is not in decel fuel cut-off (DEFCO).
Catalyst heating or clear-out is not active.
The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is warmer than 60°C (140°F).
The intake air temperature (IAT) is colder than 60°C (140°F).
DTC P2177 and P2179 run continuously once the above conditions are met for at least 300 seconds.

P2187 and P2189

Before the ECM can report DTC P2187 or P2189, failed, DTCs P0030, P0031, P0032, P0050, P0051, P0052, P0100, P0101, P0102, P0103, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0130, P0131, P0132, P0135, P0150, P0151, P0152, P0155, P0221, P0222, P0223, P0335, P0336, P0443, P0458, P0459, P064D, P064E, P2237, P2240, P2243, P2247, P2251, P2254, P2226, and P2629 must run and pass.
The engine speed is between 480-1,120 RPM and steady.
The throttle angle is less than 98 percent.
The closed loop fuel control is active
Catalyst heating or clear-out is not active.
The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is warmer than 60°C (140°F).
The intake air temperature (IAT) is colder than 60°C (140°F).
DTC P2187 and P2189 run continuously once the above conditions are met for at least 300 seconds.
