Conditions for Running the DTC

P0335
- The engine is cranking or operating and the ECM detects 5 camshaft revolutions.
- DTC P0335 runs continuously once the above conditions.
P0336
- The ECM detects an engine speed signal from CKP sensor and 5 camshaft revolutions have occurred.
- DTC P0336 runs continuously once the above conditions are met.
P0338
- DTC P0335, P0500, or P0501 are not set.
- The vehicle speed is between 10-26 km/h (6-16 mph).
- The engine is not operating backwards.
- DTC P0338 runs continuously once the above conditions are met.
