Circuit/System Verification

  1. Clear the DTCs with a scan tool.
  2. Allow the engine to reach the normal operating temperature.
    3. NOTE: It may take 10 minutes for a DTC to set.
  3. Idle the engine. Observe the DTC information with a scan tool, DTCs P0008 and P0009 should not set.
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
