Installation Procedure

If required, install the generator battery temperature sensor (1) to the battery.

Install the generator battery.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the generator battery bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the generator battery cables (1-4) to the batteries.

Install the generator battery nuts (1-4) to the battery cables and tighten the nuts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
Install the generator battery temperature sensor wiring harness. Refer to Generator Battery Temperature Sensor Wiring Harness Replacement .
