Installation Procedure

  1. Install the 36-volt battery internal cable (1) to the battery.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the generator battery cable nuts and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  3. Install the generator battery terminal rubber cups.

  4. Install the generator battery cover (1).

  5. Install the 12 generator battery cover bolts (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  6. Install the 2 generator battery vent fan cover bolts (2) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  7. Connect the hybrid battery service disconnect. Refer to Hybrid Battery Service Disconnect/Connect .
